The Continental Ranch is a privately owned property in west Texas along the banks of the Pecos River (15 miles northwest of Comstock, Texas). The rock is high quality limestone and the cliffs are uncharacteristically tall, single pitch climbs. There is an excess of 200 established rock climbing routes with ratings range from 5.7-5.13.
The “CRR” weekend is an off-the-grid type of experience hosted by the American Alpine Club - Austin chapter. The camping and climbing areas are primitive and have no running water and electricity. It’s truly one of the most incredible outdoor climbing experiences Texas has to offer.
